AppleTree Institute is an authorized provider of the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) as well as many state-run Professional Development (PD) registries. Practitioners can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and PD hours that can often go towards teaching certification renewals and other accreditation by attending live training sessions and/or completing on-demand online courses at their own pace throughout the year.
To earn CEUs, you must complete the following requirements** for each training you complete:
On-Demand Courses:
Self-enroll in the course using AppleTree’s Canvas Catalog.
Complete all course content, including reading or listening to all textual content, watching all videos in their entirety, completing all interactive content, contributing thoughtful submissions to discussion boards, and completing knowledge checks.
Pass a final posttest on Canvas with a score of 75% or higher in two attempts.
Live Trainings:
Register for the live training using AppleTree’s Canvas Catalog.
Document your attendance with the training facilitator.
Attend the full length of the training and participate in all activities.
Pass a final posttest on Canvas with a score of 75% or higher in two attempts.

**AppleTree Institute reserves the right to grant or revoke certificates based on evidence of a participant meeting or not meeting all requirements set by IACET.
Accessing your Certificates of Completion
Accessing your Certificates of Completion
After completing course or training requirements in Canvas, you can access and download your certificate of completion directly from your Canvas Catalog Student Dashboard. Follow the steps below to retrieve your certificate.

Log in to your AppleTree Canvas account using the same email and password you used to enroll in the courses.

Click your name at the top-right corner, and then select Student Dashboard.
If the course you completed is part of the Every Child Ready Foundations Bundle, scroll to the completed course from the In Progress tab.
If the course you completed is not part of the Every Child Ready Foundations Bundle, scroll to the Completed section to see a list of finished courses.

Find the course for which you’d like to download the certificate and click the Download button next to it.
